Double Feature: Cooking and Shuttles

Due to busy and internet fail, these dreams are from Thursday night.

(there were parts of dreams most nights, but I don't write it down if I can't remember most of the plot of the dream)

Dream 1:

A friend and I park on a busy street. We walk up a twisty driveway on a hill. What I think is landscaping rocks on either side is really wrapped home-made caramels. I pick one up. My friend says that they're delicious and the best tactic is to shove as many as you can into your pockets as you are leaving.

We reach the house. It's all modern and homey and perfectly decorated. My friend, Morgan, lives there and she is in the kitchen preparing delicious things to eat.

The friend I came with goes to help her, but since my inability to cook is known by everyone in the room, I am told not to help and I agree. I sit at the counter and watch them make amazing food.

Morgan's boyfriend/roommate comes home and he goes to help cook. I go over to the shelf of music to act as the DJ so that I can be a part of things.

Dream 2:

I have a four year old boy and a one year old boy with me. I am taking them to visit their dad. We are on a bus. We pass by this big open field where space ships (like in Star Wars and Star Trek) are crashing into each other in what looks like this epic battle. The bus stops at the space shuttle station. We have to take a shuttle to get to their dad.

The four year old is mad at me and not behaving. I am doing my best, but he just won't listen.

We get onto the shuttle and I'm a little wary because of all the ship crashing I saw earlier. Then I realize that the ships are part of a demolition derby event, and not actually crashing because they are unsafe.

The shuttle ride is rough, and the four year old calms down and listens to me. I'm holding the one year old on my lap. We stop on one planet to refuel.

The stop is at the base of some mountains. It's spring and the snow is melting. I point out snowmen standing in the field to the boys and they are amazed because they've never seen snow before. We get out of the shuttle and I teach them how to make snowmen.

After the shuttle is refueled, we get back on and continue our journey to see their dad.

The end.
