Geographically Incorrect Bike Race

I'm part of a bike race, for some charity I'm sure. The halfway point has an expo type thing going on, with booths and stuff to buy. I run into one of my friends, Heather, she is mailing letters to friends. She wants to mail them from different places. So goes over and asks a little boy if he could please mail a letter from Hollywood and HIghland for her. The little boy turns and with much more attitude than a 9 year old should tells her no. His much nicer twin brother comes over and says he would because it seems important to Heather. I tell Heather that she must have asked his evil twin first.

Then my dad and I went over to a bike/sports shop to look for a part for my bike. (The bike I ride to work every day, a 1983 Panasonic Sport, it's awesome) I'm looking around for a new seat post because mine keeps slipping down gradually. (Which is true)

I see those weird shoes that have the toes....they're all sporty or something. All the shoes that are on the table have six toes and I can't figure out why.

I go back out because the race is about to start again. I'm looking at a map so I can show Heather and my dad the route. The map is of the midwest, but it's wrong (but in my dream, I do not realize it). Minnesota is in the middle and there are states on either side, but no great lakes. North and South Dakota are to the east of Minnesota. The route for the bike race goes from the (according to the backwards map) North East corner of North Dakota, across the top, then down to South Eastern Minnesota.

We all get to our bikes and start. I end up riding with a group of team members that all have matching yellow jerseys.

The end.
