Toni is Fabulous!

So there was this big group of people I was with. We were then split into two groups depending on whether we were pro-LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual, Transgender, Questioning) or anti-LGBTQ. I was in the pro-LGBTQ group, which is true. We were then required to participate in group exercises to make us see the other group as people. There was no right or wrong group, just to see everyone as people. We had to listen to 'anonymous' stories of trials that group members had gone through to see that we were more alike than different.

Then everyone was taken through this room where the walls, ceiling and floor were painted black. Light was then projected on everything to make it look like we were walking through stars and space. It was all cool and in 3-D.

Then I went down a waterslide.....apparently it turned into a pool party or something. When I got to the bottom there was this transvestite in a sparkly red one piece swimsuit sitting on the stairs. Her name was Toni and she was fabulous. I went over and sat next to her and we talked about LGBTQ stuff. I told her I was 'QueerSpawn' (which is a term used for children with one or more LGBTQ parents) We then just sat there and talked for a while. She gave me an awesome hug.

End of dream.

(sidenote, I actually am QueerSpawn in real life and am totally in the pro-LGBTQ group)
